You can’t deny, looking at some of L.A. Reid’s photos, that he resembles Food Network star Alton Brown of Good Eats fame. L.A. Reid, one of the judges for The X Factor USA alongside Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell (and that girl who was the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls…) is one of the most powerful music producers in the world. Among the many acts he has either produced or written for are Mariah Carey, Pink, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Kanye West, Avril Lavigne, Toni Braxton, TLC, Usher, Ciara, OutKast, and Dido. He has a lot of famous people to his credit, for sure! He probably needs ADT security everywhere he goes. Now, he’s looking to apply some of that star making power to launch careers for some of the finalists from The X Factor. It is even rumored that he might have a twin, from whom he was separated at birth: Alton Brown.

Alton Brown made the foodie scene with this witty and comical take on cooking for The Food Network on a show based on his best selling books in the Good Eats series. He’s also a judge for Iron Chef: America, and has penned many more books since his meteoric rise to fame. Brown, an outspoken Christian, makes no bones about his faith. He and his wife and daughter always say grace when dining in public. Good Eats is the television cooking show Alton Brown is most famous for, and that airs in North America on Food Network. He also brings into his show a science nerd twist, blending the secrets of good cookery with a sort of Bill Nye the Science Guy atmosphere.
So, what do you think? Do Alton Brown and L.A. Reid resemble one another? I think so! I mean, look at the pictures. They could be twins (well, except for the obvious fact that Brown has more hair.) Maybe it’s just the glasses, but I don’t really think so.
